Things are Made - The goal of this site is to introduce
kids and adults to the world of manufacturing topics and to do it in a fun way.
The site shows how more than 40 everyday objects are made. There are about 4
hours of video built into the site, making it quite a virtual factory tour! It
was developed as a result of a brainstorming session between the Alliance for
Innovative Manufacturing at Stamford University and a company that designs
online courses on design and manufacturing topics.

Mapping Your Future has a college admissions and financial aid calendar which lists events to keep track of, making sure you file all your paperwork on time. There are lists of links to find scholarship programs as well as a walk-through on selecting a college and finding financing.
Project EASI (Easy Access for Students & Institutions) walks parents and students through the four steps of financial aid: Planning, Applying, Receiving, and Repaying.

- Stone Test Wall - The stone test wall was constructedÝ to study the performance of stone subjected to weathering. It contains 2352 individual samples of stone, of which 2032 are domestic stone from 47 states, and 320 are stones from 16 foreign countries. Over 30 distinct types of stones are represented, some of which are not commonly used for building purposes. There are many varieties of the common types used in building, such as marble, limestone, sandstone, and granite. This site presents the existing data and pictures for eachÝ particular stone.
